CODE OF ETHICS

I hold myself accountable to the highest standards of personal integrity and Christian values in all coaching relationships, cognizant and respectful of each client’s uniqueness and individuality.

I will maintain strict confidentiality with my clients, except where disclosure is necessary to prevent harm to the client or another person or as required by law.

I will be honest with each client, allowing the Holy Spirit to direct coaching sessions, and I will encourage a client to make a change if I believe he/she would be better served by another coach to accomplish their goals or move forward in their life.

I will honor Christ by maintaining a Christian perspective in coaching, speaking the truth in love, and coaching by the values and principles set forth in the Holy Bible.

I will give due credit and cite sources for all materials used that were not created by me, honoring copyrights, trademarks and intellectual property.

I will nurture my own spiritual life and relationship with Jesus Christ through a consistent discipline of prayer, scripture reading and meditation.  I will give adequate time to prayer and preparation before each coaching session, and I will pray for each of my clients regularly.

I will read books, subscribe to life coaching newsletters, and attend seminars, conferences, and programs related to coaching and spiritual development on a regular basis, to foster growth and continued learning in my personal life and in my Christian Life Coaching practice.

I will tithe 10% of my monthly coaching hours in pro bono coaching for clients who are unable to pay for services, and I will pray regularly that God lead those in need of coaching to me.
